Audrey + Max: Glamourous, Show-stopping, Autumn Chicago Wedding

Kirsten coordinated Audrey + Max’s showstopper in October in Chicago. Her words are below, coupled with Bonphotage’s stunning images. Congrats, Audrey + Max!

Audrey + Max not only celebrated their wedding day, but hosted events their entire wedding weekend, and every moment was fabulous. Friday evening started off at the Epiphany Center for the Arts where Max’s family graciously hosted their rehearsal and dinner with their immediate family members and wedding party. Once dinner was complete, they transitioned to their welcome event where an additional 50 guests arrived. A surprise performance by Ivy Ford during the welcome party had everyone practicing their dance moves for the main event the next day!

The wedding day started off with Beauty by Ann Krause’s team making all the ladies stunning at The Westin on Michigan Ave while Max and his gents were over at the Viceroy.

After champagne was drunk and lunch was eaten, both ladies and gents made their way to North Avenue Pier for the first look. It was a beautiful fall day and Chicago sure showed up for it — complementing the gorgeous couple. After the first look, the wedding party joined in the fun and Bonphotage was able to capture the special bonds the couple had with all their attendants.

While the wedding party headed to Theater on the Lake where the ceremony and reception was taking place, Audrey had a special moment with her dad during their first look on the water. Audrey’s uncle married the couple in a sentimental ceremony with the beautiful blue water of Lake Michigan peaking through the windows of the venue. The floral — OMG! Kehoe Designs knocked it out of the park.

Once the ceremony finished, it was time to party!!! The ceremony space was flipped, and Kehoe Designs worked their magic and created a breath-taking reception space.

After dinner and toasts were completed by Audrey’s MOH’s and Max’s father who also was his best man, Becca Kaufman Orchestra took the mic and boy do they know how to entertain. Everyone was up on their feet for the next three hours. Wahoo!

Congratulations, Audrey + Max!
