Noelle coordinated this spectacular wedding on a magical September Saturday. I am thrilled to let her tell the story of Megan + Jimmy! Read on for some dreamy images and Noelle’s words.

What happens when two chill, music loving, smiley people meet at a Phish concert? The most lovely and joy filled evening with special details and the coolest vibes. Megan and Jimmy have a love built for each other, and their wedding was nothing short of perfect at showcasing that, and what better a backdrop than the lush courtyard, stunning stairs, and lounge of The Dawson?

This laid back couple chose the wonderful Hoxton as Megan’s getting ready location, as Jimmy prepped for the big day at their brand new home they purchased just weeks before. Family and friends came in and out of Megan’s suite to visit, before heading to a separate room to get in her amazing dress and capelet (courtesy of Alice in Ivory), share some moments with her parents, and jetting off to Winnemac Park for their first look. Of course their pup, Odie, had to join in on the joy!

Officiated by Jimmy’s brother, Scott, the couple wed in the breezy and beautiful Dawson courtyard surrounded by florals from Flowers for Dreams, drenched in the summertime Chi sunshine, and in front of their family and friends - all of whom tore the roof off the place when they were announced as husband and wife. The energy was filled with excitement, but most of all with support, for this cool, cool couple.

As guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the second floor, the courtyard was flipped to a family style dining room, with macaroon escort treats to lead the way. As the sun set, the glowy and romantic setting served as the perfect space for Megan and Jimmy’s fathers to toast to their marriage, for first dances under cafe lights, cake cutting, and lots and lots of lively conversation from their guests. The second floor filled with sweet treats and spun 45’s from the 70’s and 80’s by G and J Record Crew (a friend of the couple) until midnight before everyone strolled back to the Hoxton to revel in the beauty of the evening. The sweet moments so stunningly caught by Meg Adamik Creative can truly show how in love this couple is, and how absolutely love filled this night was for everyone involved.
