Morgan + Dave: Joyful, Fun, Magical New York Wedding

I cannot believe that it has been a full year since we celebrated Morgan + Dave! The day started with torrential downpours that had the entire vendor team a little nervous, but by the time the ceremony rolled around, the sun was breaking through over the breathtaking Manhattan skyline as they were married by their dear friend on The Bordone’s rooftop terrace. I watched their ceremony in pure awe as the skyline literally glittered in the post-rain sunshine - it was just meant to be.

Dave + Morgan met at our shared alma mater, Cornell University, and were friends for years before they decided to try pursuing something more. It’s such a joy to watch them together as they truly are each other’s best friend. It was a pleasure to work with them to plan a wedding that perfectly merged their families, cultures, and lives, and I wish we could relive it every day.

So much love to the Formans, happy anniversary! - Olivia

Morgan, the loveliest and most fun bride, started her day at Ravel Hotel with her best friends and MADE Up on the Go glammed up this wonderful girl squad. The gals enjoyed mimosas and the room was filled with laughter as they prepped for the big day.

After a short walk down the block to The Bordone, the bride was helped into her gown by her sweet mom and maid of honor and she waited for her future husband to arrive for their first look.

Dave, the most warm and kind groom, hung with his guys at Ravel Hotel as well and donned his custom suit. Soon thereafter, he also made his way to The Bordone to see his bride!

Talk about the most joyful first look!! The rain stopped and the clouds parted for these two to spend a few moments together before their ceremony. Their faces say it all.

The bridesmaids and groomsmen met them on the rooftop for some group photos. I am OBSESSED with the bridesmaid dress scheme!

While the couple, families, and wedding party took photos, the vendor team was hard at work downstairs setting up the most magical ceremony. The chuppah with the hanging floral was a standout piece, lovingly created by Everwild Blooms.

After the ceremony, the new Formans snuck away for some golden hour photos with Celeste.

The ceremony space was transformed and cocktail hour began as the sun was setting on the skyline.

Meanwhile, inside, the catering and floral teams were putting the finishing touches on the most gorgeous tables.

Scott Yanney created the most fun musical experience, and the dance floor was packed, the entire night. It was fitting, for the couple who is always the first on the dance floor at everyone else’s wedding. The Hora was a HIGHLIGHT and the rest of the evening was electric.

Congratulations, Morgan + Dave!
