Jackie + Richard were wed at Revel Motor Row on July 22, 2023 (6 months ago!) and their wedding was one for the BOOKS. They navigated the planning process through a series of cross country moves and job changes and they pulled off a flawless and FUN evening for their guests. We had the ultimate dream team of vendors (scroll on to see the full list) and it was an honor to work with them, the couple, and their families to coordinate a stunning, fast-paced evening, chock full of dancing, live music, and elegant decor from Revel Decor. They capped off their evening with some late night snacks and a silent disco in the courtyard (!).

The gals started the day in the beautiful Apartment suite at Revel Motor Row with the talented hair & makeup teams from Megan Michel and Joanna B Artistry, respectively. Jackie had the sweetest group of bridesmaids who hung out all morning and once ready, presented Jackie with a really personal gift of photos and notes. Tears were shed by all!

Jackie then slipped into her gown, with help from her mom and future mother-in-law while Richard hung out with his groomsmen downstairs.

Jackie + Richard hired the extremely talented Elena Bazini Photography and she was a superstar. I just love these images she captured of two special first looks - Jackie and her dad and then the bride and groom.

Revel Motor Row is a stunning backdrop for photos - Elena had some quiet time with the couple around the property before the ceremony.

And then - it was almost ceremony time! There was a strong potential for rain and we considered moving the ceremony inside. The bride said “I’m waterproof!” and we kept it outside and the rain HELD! A wedding day miracle.

Jackie + Richard had a traditional Jewish ceremony, officiated by Rabbi Scott Gellman, complete with a Ketubah signing before the ceremony.

After the ceremony, guests moved inside for cocktail hour while the Revel team (Revel Decor and Limelight Catering) put the finishing touches in Packard Ballroom for the reception. The hanging greenery / lighting fixture over the dance floor was a highlight.

Guests were seated for an entrance and then were encouraged to join the dance floor for a dance set before dinner. The couple wanted an East Coast style reception - dancing between dining courses - and it created an electric energy throughout the reception. It was FUN!! The Chicago Players provided all of the music and the dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT.

After the reception, friends and family were welcomed out onto the Courtyard for a silent disco and late night snacks. Those who stayed danced until the last possible second – the energy was wild! Such a fun idea to cap of such a special night!
