FRIDAY | October 17, 2025

  • 4:30PM Rehearsal at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church

    • Includes couple, families, wedding party, ceremony participants/helpers & planner

    • Free parking available available at 363 W. Hill Street (only for rehearsal night - not available on wedding day)

  • 6:00PM Rehearsal Dinner at The Dawson

  • 8:00PM Welcome Reception at The Dawson

SATURDAY | October 18, 2025

  • 7:30AM - 1:30PM Ladies’ morning details

    • 7:30AM Ladies to start convening in Louisa’s room at the Waldorf Astoria; for ladies with a later appointment, please plan to arrive by 9:30AM at the latest if schedules allow

    • 8:00AM-12:45PM Beauty services, as a gift from the bride. Beauty schedule is linked HERE or you can scroll and see below

      • The bride’s hair is at 9:00AM & makeup is at 11:15AM

      • Breakfast & lunch will be provided

    • 12:00PM OFW planner, Kirsten, arrives

    • 12:00PM All personal floral will be dropped at the Waldorf Astoria

    • 12:30PM Lead photographer & videographer arrive

    • 1:00PM MOH & MOB get dressed, then Louisa gets dressed

    • For ladies getting ready at the Waldorf with a small bag of personal items who do not have a room at the Waldorf or Westin, you can choose to carry them with you throughout the day, leave them in a friend’s hotel room to pick up later, or drop them off at home after the morning concludes and before the ceremony (if you live nearby and there is ample time). If everything stays on schedule, there should be about an hour between events

    • ~1:30PM Bride first look with Dad at Waldorf Astoria

  • Morning - 1:30PM Gents’ morning details

    • Morning - Gents convene at Scott + Louisa’s residence

      • Be dressed and ready to uber to the Waldorf at 12:15PM

    • ~12:15PM All gents uber to the Waldorf Astoria (arrive at 12:30)

    • 12:30PM Second photographer & videographer meet at Waldorf

    • 1:00-1:30PM Photos in Waldorf hotel cocktail lounge (Bernard’s)

    • ~1:35PM Photographer places Scott for first look

  • 1:45PM First look for Scott + Louisa

    • Pup, Layla, joins them for a few photos around 2:00PM (Bridesmaid assists)

  • 2:00-3:00PM Pre-ceremony transportation & timing

    • ~2:10PM Louisa, MOH and MOB depart Waldorf via Uber Black

    • 2:15PM Scott and designated others depart for church via trolley

      • Family can either take the 2:30 buses or separate rideshare vehicles

    • 2:30PM Guest transportation departs Westin Michigan Ave & the Waldorf Astoria for church

    • 2:30PM Couples arrive at church — anyone in processional should be in holding area

    • 2:45PM Doors open | Buses arrive at church | Guests begin arriving at church

    • Parking at: Union Missionary Baptist Church lots at 940 N. Orleans; walk up two blocks to the church  

  • 3:00-4:00PM Ceremony

    • 4:00-4:15PM Family photos at church altar

    • 4:15PM Grand exit — guests line up outside

    • 4:15-5:00PM Guest transportation loops between Saint Joseph’s & Theatre on the Lake

    • ~4:30PM Trolley departs with couple, wedding party & friends from St. Joseph’s to Theatre on the Lake

    • ~4:50PM Couple, wedding party & friends arrive at TOTL; some photos onsite

  • 5:00-6:00PM Cocktail Hour at large indoor bar & South Patio (weather permitting)

  • 6:00PM-11:00PM Dinner, Speeches, and Dancing between courses

    • Dance set #1 includes couple entrance & first dance

    • 6:30PM Guests are seated, followed by parent welcome toasts

    • Salads served, followed by sibling toasts and dance set #2

    • Entrees served, followed by the couple’s cake cutting and parent dances

    • ~8:30PM Final dance set begins!

  • 11:00PM Event ends


Please have all ladies arrive with clean, makeup free faces, freshly shampooed, blow dried, product free hair, and ideas or photos of the look they will want.

Ample time is given for each person during their appointment. To remain on time for the wedding day, each appointment is not to exceed the allotted time. Changes and touch ups will be permitted at the end of the schedule as time allows
