Brittany + Will: Breathtaking, Loving, Family-oriented Chicago Wedding

Kirsten coordinated this wedding day for two high school sweethearts in June. Brittany + Will’s wedding was a long time coming, and it was just so gorgeous and FUN. Kirsten’s words are below, coupled with stunning images by Michael & Kristin. Congrats, Brittany + Will!

If there were ever two people who were meant to be it would be Brittany and Will. Brittany and Will are high school sweethearts who have been together for nearly a decade. They grew up together, went away to school together, and came back to Chicago together to start their professional careers. At their rehearsal, Will told me that he originally had the intention of proposing in March of 2020 and since that wasn’t feasible, he proposed the first chance he could in Summer 2020. Their wedding was a family affair and their wedding party included Will’s six sisters, their significant others, Brittany’s brother, and cousins who felt more like siblings. To say the day was magical is an understatement and I am so happy I was able to be a part of it.

The day started off at The Westin Chicago River North. The ladies got all glammed up by Torie Conn Makeup and Hannah Aubrey Hair while the gents were enjoying their Woodford Reserve that was gifted by the groom. Once the ladies were finished with hair and makeup, they surprised Brittany with a book of their favorite memories with her and words of wisdom. Not only did the wedding party look stunning, but Brittany also had some of the coolest detail items!. Michael & Kristin Photography and Daniel D Video captured them perfectly.

It was now time to venture to their childhood church in Arlington Heights to get these two married.

After the celebration, the wedding party hopped on their party bus and made a stop at their alma mater (and where they met!) Saint Viator High School. Of course, they had to get a photo with their closest family and friends who attended high school with them.

Back to the city they go to celebrate at Morgan Manufacturing. Although it was a cloudy day, Chicago’s skyline sure showed. They were able to get some remarkable photos on Morgan Manufacturing’s rooftop, and not only was the outside beautiful…

…but inside, Life in Bloom created tablescapes that were out of this world!

J & L Catering created an amazing dinner while guests enjoyed toasts from Brittany’s maid of honor, Will’s best man, and Brittany’s father. Once dinner concluded, they shared their first dance as a married couple under Morgan Manufacturing’s beautiful bistro lights. Bluewater Kings Band had everyone on their feet for the rest of the night.

Congrats to the Solimenes!!! We hope the next decade is as special as the last!
