Lisa + Eli: Lush, Autumnal, and Touching Late Fall Chicago Wedding
They say it’s good luck when it rains on your wedding day. For Lisa + Eli, they didn’t need any more luck, they had already found each other, the rain was just a bonus for their incredible, cozy, and truly stunning day last November.
Dreaming up the many details of their wedding alongside them was a privilege. They have impeccable style, and not to mention, they are wildly fun, kind, and chic - the kind of couple you see out to dinner at a great restaurant who look like they’re having the best time ever, and you really want to be friends with them. They’re THAT cool, and boy did their wedding show off all those sides of them.
Lisa’s love of florals and Eli’s expertise in lighting design, paired with Brian Kempen from Life in Bloom’s incredible eye made for the perfect storm of design passion that built the day. Captured by the always amazing Emily Williams, and sealed with an ECBG kiss of cake, it was a dream through and through.
Cheer’s to you, Lisa + Eli! Happy One Year Anniversary, and I hope marriage has been nothing but a fun dance in the rain for you both 🖤

Lisa + Eli spent their morning getting ready with their people at The Emily Hotel, chatting over breakfast, getting glam, and getting excited for the day ahead. Emily Williams joined to capture the day (as she does so well so often for OFW couples), and started with a beautiful flat lay of details showing off the intricate Bayview Printing Co invitation suite.
Lisa got ready with the help of her mother and sister, and Eli with his friends, with finishing touches by his mom, and some pieces owned by his late father to carry with him through the day. Lisa’s nails even sported an old english “E” - the details always making our hearts swell a little bit.
Ravisloe boasts a stunning courtyard for their ceremonies. The summer sunshine beamed on the floral set up, and H + D shared a sweet first look on the patio before diving into family photos and bridal party portraits in and around the Ravisloe grounds.
The ceremony was filled with sweet moments and laughter - just as Haley + Drew fill everyone’s lives with. Cloud Gate String Quartet played them down the aisle, and their friend Jack married them under the sweet summertime glow of their love. Their friends and families tore the roof off the place with their cheers once they sealed the deal with a kiss, and then the party really began!
Married!
Signature cocktails flowed and families were joined during cocktail hour before they headed int the reception space. The welcome table included family photos from generations past, more stunning blooms, and a set of escort cards set aside for those no longer with us. Ki House stunned us again with the sweetheart table of dreams and centerpieces we couldn't stop staring at.
Haley + Drew made a grand entrance that sparkled - literally - courtesy of Love Ent by Milk Majer who would provide the tunes for the rest of the evening. We kicked off dinner with sweet speeches from the Father of the Bride, Best Man, and Maid of Honor, all who brought tears and laughter to the whole room.
While everyone ate, H + D snuck out for some golden hour photos and
just LOOK at these beauties!
You could truly feel the love in the room as this deeply caring couple danced with their parents and then with each other, before opening up the dance floor to boogie the night away with their guests. We are so lucky to have Haley on our team, and we are SO glad we got to help make her dream day come true. We’ll keep coming back to this one for a long while.
Congratulations, you two!
