Thursday August 20, 2026

  • 3:00PM Rehearsal at Adler Planetarium, Sundial Terrace

    • Meet at Sundial Terrace (left of the entrance). Enter through South Box Office (right of the entrance) for inside access

  • 5:00PM Catholic Wedding Ceremony at Old St. Mary’s Catholic Church

  • 6:00PM Rehearsal Dinner at The Chicago Firehouse Restaurant

FRIDAY August 21, 2026

  • Ladies convene at Maggie + Ryan’s Apartment at <<8:00AM>>

    • OFW planning team will arrive at 1:00PM

    • Lead photographer, Tim, will arrive at 1:15PM

    • Hair & makeup is complete by 1:30PM

    • Mother and sister of the get dressed after getting ready photos

  • Gentlemen will begin the day at Le Méridien Essex

    • Gentlemen will convene and be dressed by 1:00PM

    • 1:15PM photographer arrives to capture gentlemen

    • 2:30PM Groom departs for the couple’s apartment for the first look. Plan to be onsite by 2:45-2:50PM.

  • 1:30-2:30PM Bride & Bridesmaid Getting Ready Shots | Bride gets dressed | Bridal portraits

  • 2:50PM Photographers get Groom set for First Look

  • Maggie + Ryan share their first look on the rooftop of their apartment building

  • 3:00-3:45PM First Look | Couple Portraits

  • 3:30PM Trolley arrives at the Couple’s home

    • Parents, siblings, and significant others load while the couple finishes portraits

  • ~3:45PM Trolley departs for Le Méridien Essex to pick up remaining family, and then proceeds to The Field Museum for photos

  • 4:00PM Family at Le Méridien Essex stages in the lobby for pick-up

  • ~4:10PM Family at Le Méridien Essex picked up on trolley to proceed to photos

  • ~4:20PM Trolley arrives at the Field Museum

    • Couple and photographers unload for some portraits. Family and wedding party remain on the bus (other groups at photographer’s discretion)

  • 4:15-5:00PM Couple photos at the Field Museum

  • 5:00PM (3) Guest buses are available at Le Méridien Essex for transportation to Adler Planetarium

  • ~5:00PM Trolley departs for Adler Planetarium

  • ~5:10PM Wedding Party and family arrive at Adler Planetarium for additional photos

    • Drop personal items in Board Room and then outside for photos

  • 5:20-5:50PM Wedding Party & Family photos at Adler Planetarium

  • 6:00PM Guests begin arriving - please proceed directly to the Sundial Terrace

  • 6:30PM Maggie + Ryan get married on the Sundial Terrace!

  • 7:00-8:00PM Cocktail Hour

  • 8:00-11:00PM Dinner, Speeches, and Dancing

    • Toasts will begin at approximately 8:25PM, following the Grand Entrance

      • Parents of the Bride, Ken & Karen

      • Brothers of the Groom, Brendan, Matt & Liam

      • Matron of Honor, Mary

    • Following these toasts, entree service will begin

    • The couple will give a brief speech at approximately 9:15PM, followed by special dances

      • First Dance

      • Father/Daughter Dance

      • Mother/Son Dance

    • Following these toasts, the dance floor will open!

  • 11:00PM First guest bus available back to the hotel

  • 12:00AM Second guest bus available back to the hotel

  • 1:00AM Wedding ends and final guest bus is available back to the hotel
