Chelsea + Drew: Whimsical, Dreamy Chicago Wedding

Chelsea + Drew love each other and their families fiercely. They are loyal, kind, and crack some of the best jokes. They are both so open and warm - most of our meetings happened in their beautiful home, where the wine would flow and their pups would join right in. Their wedding was on a perfect August Saturday in the garden at Salvage One, a lush, green space nestled right behind the well-known antique shop. There was a stillness to their ceremony that was so moving. It was our pleasure to be part of their wedding day, and it is such a joy to share these images with you. Congratulations, Chelsea + Drew!

Chelsea started her day at Goldplaited’s River North studio - they had the place to themselves for a few hours while everyone primped and got ready for the day. Meg Adamik Creative and Hunter Floyd Films joined us to capture to action.

The gals gathered on the trolley and made their way to the wildflower field at Lincoln Park Nature Conservancy for the most beautiful first look. Chelsea + Drew prepared letters to read to each other, back to back, before they turned around and saw each other.

They popped over to the honeycomb for some incredible couple portraits. I just LOVE this Chicago spot!

The wedding party joined us on the bridge for some killer Chicago views. Did I mention that the weather was perfection?!

The group headed to Salvage One for the most beautiful outdoor ceremony in their garden. All decor was provided by Flowers for Dreams.

Married! I think their officiant’s face says it all.

Salvage One is a magical space, with tons of natural light and textured wood and metal. You even get to pick your lighting and seating from what they have in stock. Chelsea + Drew’s reception details were so dreamy.

Dinner was served by Hearty Boys, and music by Ring of Music. C + D’s first dance had all guests circled around the dancefloor, welcoming the new husband + wife.
