Christine + Jack: Joyful, Loving, Fun Ithaca Wedding

Christine + Jack have fun-loving spirits, joyful personalities, and fiercely caring hearts. Pair those qualities with a close-knit friend group and fabulous families, and you get one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of working. These two got married on a rainy October Saturday in Ithaca, NY, and despite the weather, this couple was up for anything. Their gorgeous Sage Chapel wedding was followed by a champagne toast on the patio (scroll down to see a truly bad-ass bride!). Guests then loaded on buses and headed to Ithaca’s Coltivare Restaurant for a beautifully decorated space by Flowerwell and Pretty Little Vintage Co. that was modern and cozy. And when Encore Events opened that dance floor … it never closed. This crowd was in it to DANCE. It was a fabulous evening — Congratulations Christine + Jack!

Rewind to the beginning of the day at Ithaca’s Argos Inn where Christine and her gals got ready, with the help of beauty artists Morgan Oreeda and Meg Rianne. Bride, Christine, got all of her ladies matching jammies, that happened to correspond perfectly to the decor in their room.

Meanwhile, Jack and his gents got ready in their dashing tuxedos.

Christine’s gown was magical, and the quiet in the room as she got dressed with the help of her mom and sister was poignant.

Christine + her dad shared a sweet first look at the bar in the Argos Inn before heading to the Cornell Botanic Gardens to see her future husband.

But before that, the nooks and crannies in the Argos Inn are perfect for bride + groom details. I mean. These flowers by Flowerwell were some of my favorite to date.

Christine’s dad drove her up to the Cornell Botanic Gardens for her first look with Jack. It was perfect.

The wedding party met up with the happy couple for some epic fall foliage in Ithaca.

Shortly thereafter, guests were ushered into Sage Chapel on Cornell University’s campus. It was such a special ceremony, and not a dry eye was left in the chapel.

Despite the rainy weather, this couple had an epic surprise for their guests right after the ceremony on the patio. Christine is one COOL bride!

Guests made their way down to Coltivare Ithaca for a cozy, modern cocktail hour and reception, made possible by Flowerwell, Stone Fruit Studio, Minted, and Pretty Little Vintage Co.

C + J’s reception was so warm - chock full of heartfelt speeches, cake cutting, a dress change, ice cream sundae bar, and late night pizza on the dance floor. These two area true example of truly joyful love.
