Kelly + Anthony’s wedding was one for the books - truly every moment was considered and it was chock full of thoughtful details which were truly an honor to bring to life. Some highlights were: Kelly’s gown that had three lives over the course of the evening, late night McDonald’s (a must for the Carnagios!), surprise baby pictures during parent dances, and a custom seating chart made from the couple’s favorite records. The couple also used the same florist her parents used 30 years ago. Read on for even more sweet moments. It was such a meaningful wedding that celebrated family, tradition, and music and it’s one I won’t soon forget! What a joy to work with you, Kelly + Anthony (and Joanne!!). Can’t believe it’s been over a year since this gorgeous day. Many more wonderful years to come!

The bride started her day with her fabulous wedding party at her parents’ beautiful home in Burr Ridge. It was a joyful and lively morning with lots of family filtering in throughout the morning.

Kelly’s mom, Joanne, made Kelly a robe from her wedding dress - what a special moment for mother & daughter.

Kelly got dressed in her beautiful gown and added a lace topper for their Catholic ceremony and then had an emotional first look with her dad. When you’re the only daughter of a loving Italian family, there are bound to be some happy tears on your wedding day.

Meanwhile, the groom got ready at his AirBnB with his guys.

Finally, everyone made their way to the stunning Art Institute Gardens for Kelly + Anthony to have a first look and share some personal vows ahead of their ceremony.

After some photo time, the wedding ceremony commenced at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Bucktown. What a stunning backdrop for a beautiful and emotional wedding ceremony.

They’re married!!

The wedding party and family arrived at the stunning Wildman BT half an hour before the rest of the guests for some brief family toasts and a sip of champagne as a smaller group. I loved this moment! What a lovely way to cheers the newlyweds with close family and friends before the larger reception began.

While guests trickled in, Food for Thought and Phillip’s Flowers and Gifts (the same florist Kelly’s parents used 30 years ago!) put the finishing touches on a beautifully designed reception. Kelly’s family played an important role in the final design and the details came together perfectly!

The couple also wanted to honor their love of music, so A Posh Production and Ink Love & Paper helped us design and put together a custom seating chart with their favorite records.

It was finally time to start the reception festivities! There were some beautiful speeches, a private cake cutting, a stunning first dance, and lots of joy.

During the parent dances, Kelly + Anthony surprised their parents with a short slideshow of baby photos. Not a dry eye in the house!!! The groom also surprised the MOB with a fun special dance to honor her work to plan to wedding. So thoughtful!

The party kicked off! Time Chicago played a fabulous set and the dance floor was absolutely packed all night. The bride’s gown had its 3rd life with a fresh skirt and some fun jewelry.

Near the end of the night, McDonald’s was delivered for late night food. This was an obvious choice since the Carnagios own McDonald’s restaurants in the suburbs! The couple shared a late night snack and rejoined the dancing to close the evening down.
