Becca + Greg: Fun, Sweet, Thoughtful Chicago Wedding

Becca + Greg were married on a bright Autumn’s day at the stunning Bridgeport Art Center, in the Skyline Loft! B+G are truly the sweetest couple and each meeting felt like we were catching up with old friends. We immediately knew their day was going to be so special and full of fun! This was an especially unique planning process as it involved almost the entire OFW team! They began the planning process with Kirsten + Katie and Olivia then stepped in, on wedding day, to coordinate and insure all planning details were fulfilled to a T.

We are beyond honored that we were able to be a part of such a momentous day for these two — and getting to see them enjoy their day along with all of their loved ones surrounding them was a true delight. All those smiles throughout the day are exactly why we do what we do — and man, is it worth it!

Lisa + Eli: Lush, Autumnal, and Touching Late Fall Chicago Wedding

They say it’s good luck when it rains on your wedding day. For Lisa + Eli, they didn’t need any more luck, they had already found each other, the rain was just a bonus for their incredible, cozy, and truly stunning day last November. Dreaming up the many details of their wedding alongside them was a privilege. They have impeccable style, and not to mention, they are wildly fun, kind, and chic - the kind of couple you see out to dinner at a great restaurant who look like they’re having the best time ever, and you really want to be friends with them. They’re THAT cool, and boy did their wedding show off all those sides of them.

Lisa’s love of florals and Eli’s expertise in lighting design, paired with Brian Kempen from Life in Bloom’s incredible eye made for the perfect storm of design passion that built the day. Captured by the always amazing Emily Williams, and sealed with an ECBG kiss of cake, it was a dream through and through.

Cheer’s to you, Lisa + Eli! Happy One Year Anniversary, and I hope marriage has been nothing but a fun dance in the rain for you both 🖤

Mark + Mark: Chic, Sweet, and Breezy Summer Rooftop Wedding

The moment I spoke to Mark + Mark, I knew I wanted to work with them. The way they described their life together, from meeting just before the pandemic, Zoom dating and becoming part of each others pod when they finally met, balancing Mark d’s residency schedule and eventually getting engaged in Provincetown, their story re-fueled my love for love, and I was thrilled when they decided to work with me to create their dream day (really, I clapped and cheered at dinner, haha). The Mark’s, as they are known as by their friends and family, created an intentional and truly beautiful day that was so fun to put together piece by piece with each amazing vendor we worked with.

I still miss our late night meetings and laughs, but am so lucky to have been part of their day celebrating love in all its capacities.
